HM Ostentatious, the newest resin release from HorseModels.com by Debbi LerMond, garnered the Grand Champion Drastic Custom Overall title today in St. Helens, Oregon. Entrants came from all over the Pacific Northwest to compete in this highly competitive live show. This mare was the number one of the edition and first one to be shown. She was painted by the renowned Chris Jolly of Jahlee Designs in McKenna, Washington. The mare was purchased at auction before the show and was proxy shown by Debbi LerMond. The new owner, Marianne Goriuk, of Abbotsford, BC, Canada, named her, MVE Kharousel after her own horse. The competition was intense, but the sassy little three-year-old came out on top. She won the Half Arabian class, went Reserve Champion Light Breed behind Diana Patterson's Khemosabi (painted by Sarah M-B), won the Tobiano Pinto color class, won the color division championship, won second in gender for mares and then on to win the overall title. The mare earned herself a well deserved rest before she travels to her new home in Canada. Congratulations to Marianne and MVE Kharousel!
